As a Swansea wedding photographer what better way to spend a bank holiday than at a wedding! On the 25th May I met up with Owen from Owen Howells Photography who was photographing the Wedding of Jonny & Sian at St Donat’s Castle. Because I do love a good Wedding, when I’m not shooting one of my own I’m really keen to assist for someone else so when Owen asked if I was free I jumped at the chance. It was a lovely day and perfectly planned. A string Quartet played in the church as guests arrived and Sian’s Ellis bridals dress was exquisite. Jonny had hired a classic E-type Jaguar for the day and Owen thought it would be great to have some shots of them on the road in it. So hanging out of Owen’s passenger window I managed to get a few quick snaps. Thanks for not slowing down for me though Ow! We met them at the beach for some portraits and despite the wind (which I think worked in our favour) we got some really lovely images. I’ve never been to St Donat’s before but it is a really beautiful setting for a Wedding and I would urge anyone currently looking at venues to have a look. I love seeing friends and family of the Bride and Groom enjoying themselves and I always try to capture as many guests as I can. It was a beautiful day with lots of laughter and love. Congratulations Sian & Jonny.
