So yesterday my 2017 wedding season kicked off in true style! I photographed the sunniest ever April wedding. In fact it was so hot we could have been in the Med – I’m sporting some really attractive strap marks today! Gavin & Nicola’s Pembrokeshire Wedding at The Allt Yr Afon in Wolfscastle was fantastic and I am so glad I got to photograph it. Their ceremony was at 11am and the vicar was without a doubt the funniest vicar I’ve ever seen he literally had everyone laughing out loud and it really made the ceremony even more memorable. Nicola looked stunning in her Annasul y dress from White Bride in Narberth she said it was exactly what she wanted “high neck, low back & buttons.”

After the ceremony, we made a pit stop en route to Allt Yr Afon as Nicola loves the view from one of the lay-by’s of the Preseli’s and as you can see the view was exceptional under the deep blue of the sky.

After the wedding breakfast and before the dancing really got underway we spent a few moments outside in the golden hour to capture some really stunning images of the new Mr & Mrs Hancock. It was still really warm even at 7pm. What more can you ask for?! a gorgeous wedding, a fantastic couple with amazing friends and families, beautiful weather and an abundance of fantastic moments throughout the day – it’s hard to describe such weddings as work! I loved every minute of it. Congratulations Gavin & Nicola!

There will be a full blog post after the full collection of images is ready but for now here’s some highlights of what was an absolutely incredible day. Special thanks to Sophie Collins for second shooting this wedding – as always Soph you’re a diamond x
