The Cliff Hotel and Spa Wedding Photographer
I always say I’m incredibly humbled to be chosen to photograph the marriage of 2 people. To be such a big part of a wonderful day, to work with such lovely families and to get in on the party with the couples’ amazing friends is mind blowing – the fact that this is my job is surreal. and I love every minute! Yesterday I photographed Claire & Ross’s wedding at The Cliff Hotel and Spa in Cardigan. They are without doubt the most loveliest people I have ever met and it was my absolute pleasure to be their photographer.
Claire and Ross both got ready at The cliff so photographing them both getting ready has really captured the story of their day. Their bridal party were so helpful and organised and it really helped the whole day run smoothly. The buzz in both of their rooms was fantastic it really felt like one big party.
During their ceremony everyone sang ‘Yellow’ by Coldplay and ‘High’ by the Lighthouse Family which was such a lovely touch and really made it personal. Poor Ross bless him he was so nervous he called Claire by the wrong name (not in Ross from friends kind of way though!….) he called her by her middle name but before this he mis-pronounced her surname – it’s a good job she loves you Ross! After the ceremony we headed out into the hotel grounds for some family photos and then I whisked Claire and Ross off to Mwnt for some photos by the sea as the sea and the beach are very special to them both. When we got back I photographed the room where the wedding breakfast was being served and shortly afterwards everyone came in to take their seats before the speeches began.
I have so many favourite images to share from this wedding so choosing only a few has been incredibly tough – everyone was fantastic it was such a lovely wedding to shoot and Claire and Ross I wish you both all the love and happiness in the world you are both such wonderful people.
