TENBY HARBOUR WEDDING HIGHLIGHTS | ANDREW & COURTNEY
Yesterday I headed back to Pembrokeshire to photograph Andrew and Courtney’s Wedding in Tenby and then afterwards at the Broadway Country House in Laugharne. It was so lovely to see so many familiar faces from school and it was a really great wedding with lots of personal touches. Courtney had her hair and makeup done at Jamie’s Salon in Tenby, then she swiftly got home to change to arrive at the church for 11am, she looked stunning in her Mark Lesley dress and her hair pinned up. Andrew is a member of the RNLI and is also a member of Mid and West Wales Fire Service so after their ceremony they walked out to a guard of honour from both the fire service and the RNLI.
We headed down to Tenby Harbour for some portraits which is a fantastic location for wedding photo’s because there’s so much to work with and it’s also where Andrew and Courtney spend a lot of time so it was personal to them too. When we got to Laugharne we finished the group shots and after a few drinks outside on the lawn the wedding party headed into the marquee for afternoon tea. There were some very sentimental moments during the speeches especially for Andrew and his Nan which pretty much left everyone filling up with tears, but after the venue had changed the room around ready for the evening reception everyone had their party heads on and the night got under way. Andrew and Courtney chose their first dance song from a song that Andrew had heard once on the radio and said it reminded him of Courtney and how he felt about her. It wasn’t a well known song but for me it’s these little touches which make weddings really intimate and personal and it was beautiful.
I had such a great day and cant wait to edit the full collection to blog it all for you but for now here’s some highlights!
