I loved being Kieron & Ceirios’s Druidstone Hotel Wedding Photographer! Not long ago I posted previews of Ceirios & Kieron’s wedding at The Druidstone Hotel in Pembrokeshire, but now i’m so glad I can show you the details of their wedding because it was such a fun wedding to shoot. There was wind, some rain and it was quite cold at times – all the things you’d expect for a June wedding in Wales but that didn’t stop them!

I arrived at Ceirios’s parents house as preparations were well under way. Jenna Kelly was Ceirios’s MUA and the girls all looked stunning. The bridesmaid dresses were coral which complemented Ceirios’s coral wedge shoes perfectly. I discovered on the day that Ceirios and her Mum had been collecting all kinds of shells for over a year and they used them to make their own bouquets which looked fantastic and such a great alternative to flowers for a beach themed wedding. Jac, the couple’s Son and I hit it off straight away he wanted to be in ALL the photos!

We set off in the rain to Druidstone where I met up with Kieron who is without doubt THE most laid back person I’ve ever met – I don’t think he’d shaved for his own wedding but he was sporting a fresh haircut! Ceirios walked down the aisle to ‘Changes’ by Tupac and I have to admit I absolutely loved it! It was the piano version which her Brother played and had been practicing all morning.

There were Welsh and English parts of the ceremony, Jac brought the rings and they’d prepared their own vows which all really made the service unique and personal to them.

After the service the ice cream van chimed and their guests went out to fill up while we headed off to the beach in the VW camper van for pictures. It was considerably windy on the sea front but it actually made for really lovely photos.

When we got back to the venue I photographed all the little details that complimented their theme perfectly and then the food was served. They had chosen a buffet of meats, pie’s, fish amoungst other stunning food and it really was delicious. The food at The Druidstone is always really lovely. There were a few thank you’s and toasts after the meal and as the sun poked its head out (at last) we could go outside to finish the days photo’s before the party got under way.

The photo’s will show you just how well they had planned their theme more than anything I can write so enjoy.
